Burglars steal wood-burning stoves from South Downs shepherd huts

Two wood-burning stoves were stolen when burglars broke into shepherd huts at a South Downs village.

Police say that the thieves took the stoves after forcing their way into two shepherd huts on a farm at Greatham, near Pulborough

Their £2,250 haul also included a mattress which they also stole from one of the huts.

The break-in happened on Sunday (February 28) and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them by calling 101.
